The Light Metals Technology (LMT) conference is held biannually and focuses on advances in the sciences and technologies associated with the development of aluminium, magnesium and titanium alloys, and their translation into commercial products. LMT2023 is a unique opportunity for researchers, students and industry members alike to gather and discuss innovative developments through the facilitation of cross-discipline networking and new collaborations.

Speakers

The themes for the LMT2023 conference are Net Shape Manufacturing, Solid State Transformations and Mechanical Performance, and Translation to Applications. Within these three broad themes, speakers, sessions and presentations will focus on a range of topics, including alloy development, corrosion and surface modifications, joining, advanced characterisation techniques, mechanical behaviour of light alloys, and simulation and modelling. Guest speakers and presenters will come from a wide range of backgrounds and fields, providing the conference with unique perspectives and ideas.
