Without our supporters, we wouldn’t be able to deliver such quality material, engage with such respected associations and attract the experts that we do. Our supporters provide resources, expertise and experience and allow us to move beyond the basics of a conference and create an environment where ideas find germination, like-minded people come together and knowledge is shared across all types of disciplines.

ATLAS ARC TRAINING CENTRE

In close collaboration with our domestic and international university and commercial partners, ATLAS will train a new cohort of industry ready researchers through an integrated program of projects spanning

  1. Lightweight materials 
  2. Functional multi-material structures
  3. Design and Advanced manufacturing 
  4. Whole of life Assessment.

The creation and transfer of cutting edge knowledge and skills in light weighting will assist industry to innovate and create new product offering and design solutions aimed at reducing transportation related CO² emissions. Whilst projects are aimed at improving the competitiveness of the automotive sector in the first instance, longer term, the research skills and technologies developed will undoubtedly assist related industry segments  like defence and construction.
